My name is Steve Jackson and I have been in video production for close to a decade and love every minute of it.  However, I have an even longer background in music.  Even at the age of 5, I was involved in my father’s recording company and started helping as a recording engineer at the age of 10.  I continued in this field as a teenager and was a demo singer and instrumentalist in various recording studios.  I’ve traveled the world as a singer/instrumentalist and video producer and have two degrees in vocal performance.  I’m seeking my Master’s Degree in Video Production and continue to involve myself in my first love of music.  

I have been certified in Avid Media Composer but I also use Apple’s Final Cut Studio Pro as one of my main editing programs.  I also have extensive experience in Adobe’s Creative Suite including After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop and Dreamweaver.  Plus, I’ve been a software and Window’s Access/database programmer in the past.  

I compose and sequence many of the soundtracks that we use in our commercials and informational videos. In the DEMO REEL, I composed and sequenced my logo’s soundtrack at the beginning.
